Lutheran Braille Workers (LBW) is thrilled to receive a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. through its National Storytelling Initiative to launch Songs of Faith, Stories of Light. This project brings together singer-songwriters and members of the blind and visually impaired community to share powerful stories of faith, resilience, and hope through original music.
Why does this project matter?
More than 9 million Americans are blind or visually impaired, yet only 5% participate in church life. Songs of Faith, Stories of Light amplifies voices often overlooked and creates new ways to share the light of Christ through story and song.
