I am a member of Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have served in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) as LWML Oklahoma District President, 2004-2008, LWML Vice President of Christian Life, 2009-2013 and LWML President, 2015-2019. I also served previously on the LBW Board from 2013-2015. Currently, I volunteer at the Tulsa Braille Ministry Production Center.
Through the work of LBW, people who are Blind or Visually Impaired are given access to the love, grace, and forgiveness they receive through Jesus Christ. They can learn about an eternity with Him where all will see clearly!
My husband of 44 years, Bill, and I enjoy water sports, especially scuba diving. During the school year you will find us at Oklahoma State University athletic events. I am a retired registered nurse and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves on active duty in Virginia. Bill and I have been blessed with three lovely, fun grandchildren and treasure their roles as Grandpa and Grandma.
Christ’s command in Matthew 28:19 is always on my heart, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
