While I had volunteered for years before, I began working as LBW’s Audio Coordinator in February 2020. What I love about LBW is that as I walk through the door, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of fulfillment can’t help but feel as if we’re doing something that is truly a blessing to myself, LBW, and most importantly, our recipients.
My favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 16:14, “Be completely humble and gentle, be patient bearing with one another in love.”
I firmly believe success is not measured in the amount of dollars you make, but in the amount of lives you impact. Lutheran Braille Workers is not just a name or another non-profit organization, but one family working together to help many families. Our recipients thrive on God’s Word. We work hard and come together as a team to make this ministry happen. It is a blessing to receive all of the thankful phone calls, singing voicemails, donations, and thank-you notes reminding us we are doing what the Good Lord has prepared in advance for us to do! I am excited to be engaged to a wonderful fiancé and the mother of three beautiful children.
